Bright Stars

Annual Ceremony of Light and Remembrance

By coming together and celebrating life, families can find peace and community around a tragic death. All too often, the tragedy of a loved ones' death can overshadowthe vibrant lives they lived. Bright Stars provides a space to participate in a Ceremony of Light and Remembrance with others who are also honoring a loved one.

The Bright Stars ceremony honors loved ones on or around the holiday of Chanukah- the Jewish season of light. The Bright Stars are celebrated by the lives they lived, before illness or tragedy dimmed those Bright Stars. With a focus on the life of the deceased rather than their death, survivors can remember, and hold close the times when their loved one experienced health and well being.

Prior to the Bright Stars Ceremony of Light and Remembrance you will have the opportunity to provide an insert for your loved one to be placed in the remembrance book that we will use during the ceremony.

The Annual Bright Stars Ceremony of Light and Remembrance will take place in December 2024.
