You can trust our professionals to provide services with the utmost sensitivity and honor the dignity of our Holocaust Survivors.
We believe that the Holocaust survivors in our community should be provided with assistance to live their years with dignity and care. We provide specialized intensive case management, care coordination and counseling through our Behavioral & Mental Health Services.
JFS maintains two case managers who have more than 40 years of service to the needs of our local survivor community. They deliver services with sensitivity for the specific daily needs of the nearly 60 survivors we serve. They work with caregivers to train them on how to best work with survivors as well.
Jewish Family Service offers an array of services and resources. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions or to register for Holocaust Survivor Services. Once we receive your submission, we will call you and schedule a phone appointment with you within 2 business days. Please note that due to the pandemic, some services are being delivered remotely.
Social services for Jewish Nazi victims have been supported by a grant from the Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany for in-home services and emergency financial assistance. We are also receiving funds through the Kavod Shef organization to also assist with emergency needs of our Holocaust Survivors. Locally, the Lillie and Dan Sterling Foundation has helped JFS care for our Holocaust Community.
JFS thanks all our partners and supporters who help us provide dignity and assistance to our local Holocaust survivors.
