Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)

A weekly program to help you find stability.

Jewish Family Service Houston (JFS) provides weekly intensive group therapy, which individuals can attend for a period of time to help find stability. Known as intensive patient outreach (IOP), this is a structured, goals-based and supportive treatment program for adults ages 18+ that uses group therapy to help individuals improve how they cope with life challenges.

IOP staff consists of master and doctoral-level therapists. Treatment plans are individualized and periodically reviewed to meet your individual needs. We offer a variety of group interventions including acceptance commitment, brief psychodynamic, reality and solution-focused therapy, as well as cognitive and dialectical behavioral intervention, psychoeducation and resilience and sustainability.

You may benefit from IOP if you are experiencing:

  • Grief/losses
  • Relationship issues
  • Work-related stress
  • Dual-diagnosis symptoms
  • Release from in-patient treatment
  • Mood, behavior or cognition-related symptoms

Reach out today to see if you may benefit from our IOP program. It's OK to ask for help. Contact us at (713) 667-9336 or adultcounseling@jfshouston.org

We help you learn:
  • Coping skills for life challenges
  • Problem-solving techniques
  • Self-awareness
