Project Shalom

A weekly program of support and community for adults living with anxiety, depression or other related diagnosis.

This weekly program offers adults who live with depression, anxiety or other related diagnosis a weekly opportunity to engage in a variety of activities and projects in a supportive, social atmosphere. Weekly meetings offer group members a sense of belonging, support and friendship. Facilitated by a member of the JFS Disability Service team, each meeting includes a hot kosher lunch ($2) and a planned therapeutic/educational activity such as:

  • Art therapy
  • Crafts
  • Jewelry making
  • Music therapy
  • Book discussions
  • Jewish and secular holiday celebrations
  • Project Shalom is a program of JFS Disability Services.
