Project Shalom's mission is to provide support and community to adults living with anxiety, depression or other related diagnosis.
The weekly program offers adults who live with depression, anxiety or other related diagnosis a weekly opportunity to engage in a variety of activities and projects in a supportive, social atmosphere. Weekly meetings offer group members a sense of belonging, support and friendship.
Facilitated by a master’s level social worker, each meeting includes a hot kosher lunch ($2) and a planned therapeutic/educational activity such as:
• Art therapy
• Jewelry making
• Music therapy
• Book discussions
• Jewish and secular holiday celebrations
