All too often, the tragedy of a loved ones' death can overshadow the vibrant lives they lived. Bright Stars provides a space to participate in a memorial service with others who are also honoring a deceased loved one. By coming together and celebrating life, participants can find peace and community around a tragic death.
The 2021 Bright Stars ceremony honors loved ones on the fifth night of the holiday of Chanukah- the Jewish season of light. Those in memoriam are celebrated by the lives they lived, before illness or tragedy dimmed those Bright Stars. With a focus on the life of the deceased rather than their death, survivors can remember, and hold close the times when their loved one experienced health and wellbeing. Prior to the program you will have the opportunity to provide a memorial for your loved one to be placed in the memorial book that we will use during the service.
The service will be in person with an option to participate virtually.
