Event Overview

This group provides an opportunity for the community to tap out of stress and into their bodies. This all-levels mat-based yoga practice will promote strength, flexibility, and balance through a combination of slow-paced movements and restorative stretches.

Facilitated by Keri Powell, Clinical MSW intern & registered yoga teacher

 

**Video is optional. If you do not wish to be seen, you may turn your camera off. Mat is not required but highly encouraged. Option to bring yoga straps and blocks (or pillows and towels) for extra support.**

Registered participants will receive an email with Zoom link 24 hours prior to class.

Keri Powell is a clinical social work intern with JFS Houston, where she specializes in mental health approaches that address the whole person – mind, body and soul. She is a certified yoga teacher, personal trainer and nutrition coach.
