Family Life Education

Provides funds for workshops and programs for organizations and special interest groups by JFS staff.

The Farfel/Stark Fund for Professional Education in Clinical Social Work

Provides education for JFS staff.

Provides education for JFS staff.

General Fund

To benefit the programs of Project Shalom.

HARP: $180 Prepaid Donor Account

Donors are invited to make a $180 donation to a HARP fund in their name to the general fund. Donors then may call or email in their requests for making tribute donations in honor or memory of loved ones from the fund. Donors will be advised when the fund needs replenishing.

Jewish Chaplaincy Program

Provides funds to support visits from professionals and volunteers to both local and out of town patients in Houston hospitals.

Jewish Family & Children’s Financial Aid Fund

Provides fund for emergency and special needs.

Lifeline Assistance Fund

Helps place emergency lifeline systems within homes of seniors with limited resources.

The Nathan J. Klein Fund of Jewish Family Service

Provides interest-free loans for education.

Project Shalom Fund

Provides funds to support activities of Project Shalom, a program for those who have chronic mental illness.

Senior Adult Counseling

Provides funds to support counseling and case management for seniors.

Senior Adult Financial Aid

Provides ongoing and emergency funds for seniors with limit resources.

JFS Disability Services

Support programs and services of Jewish Family Service Disability Services for Jewish individuals and families with disabilities.

Sterling Survivors Fund: Assistance for Holocaust Survivors

The fund supports the emergency and ongoing needs of Houston’s Holocaust survivors.

Volunteers

Supports the recruitment and management of volunteers for JFS programs and services.

Yad Rus

Established in memory of Ruthie Ephron, of blessed memory, to benefit Project Shalom.
